Hannah Villiger works with and against the romanticism of her own body, exposing the viewer to anonymous and personal proximity. With her work, Hannah Villiger opposes a specifically male voyeurism, which, as can be seen in traditional nude photography, favours the idealisation and at the same time the standardisation of the female body.

This new work in progress, is inspired by the photographs of Hannah Villiger. All photos from her book: Sculptural, are cut into 5 mm thick slices and are placed in a new composition. This work questions the perception and modification of body parts and talks about the exposure in social media, the destruction and value of the human body.
